Art 18 : Corporate Interculturalism

- The drawing shows the unity of people in the corporate world working together as one despite their origins. The pencil holder represent the company and the different coloured pencils represent people of different nationality working together as one in the same world (represent by the globe).

- The principle of designBalance : asymmetrical design. Harmony different colours and images used, but yet they fit perfectly together. Repetition of coloured pencils. Composition : splash of different colours used(colour pencils, globe)
-Elements of design: Lines are thin, curved and linear. Colours are contrasting to one another.  Tone of colours used are vibrant, warm due to different colours used. Tone of earth is cooling as blue and green is used. The white background shows high levels of contrast due to the images being colourful. Has 3D effect : Pencils are in front of the globe. Shows 3 dimensions.

Art 17 : Intercultural Beings

-Black and White community living in the same country as ONE despite racial issues in the past. Background : British flag, Union Jack flag. The separation of the faces show two different people of different culture and race.

- The principle of design:  Balance : symmetrical design(flag and separation of face). Harmony of the image is maintained, different colours are used in one drawing . Contrasting colours are used red,white and blue background.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curvy-linear. Colours are contrasting to one another. Red,white and blue flag. Uses primary (red,blue and yellow) and also secondary colours(green, orange). Has 3D effect as the girl pops out of the background due to lines and colour schemes used.

Art 16 : Eastern and Western culture

- fusion of eastern and western culture (appearance, food and drinks).
- The principle of design:  Balance : asymmetrical design. Harmony of the image is maintained, different images used in one drawing . Contrasting colours are used red and blue background.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curvy-linear. Colours are contrasting one another(background) and images show high contrast levels due to black and white only used to FOCUS on the image. Tone : background has lighter tone compared to the images. 

Art 15 : A touch of Harmony

- A hand with different coloured finger tips and the colour of the palm is brown. Different coloured finger tips represent people from different continents and have distinct personalities, behaviours and cultural views. The colour of the palm which is brown shows that the different coloured fingers are controlled by the root(palm) representing that eventually, despite cultural differences every individual is made up of the same composition.

- The principle of designBalance : asymmetrical design. Composition: different primary and secondary colours. Harmony of the image is maintained . Contrasting are used. Repetition of fingers with various colours.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curvy. Colours are contrasting one another and shows complementary colours (yellow and blue), (blue and brown) and (green and red).  No 3D effect is seen.

Art 14 :Power of Unity

-Although we are of different cultures and believes, at some point of live we INTERSECT in thoughts,ideas and perspectives.Resembles harmony.

-The principle of design:  Balance : symmetrical design. Composition: different primary and secondary colours. Harmony of the image is maintained . Contrasting colours for the body and head. Repetition of shapes(body and head).
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and straight(body) curvy(heads). Colours are contrasting one another and shows complementary colours (yellow and blue) and (green and red). Direction : symmetrical

Art 13 : Sisterhood

- Shows women from different continents hugging each other(shows unity). Colours of skin shows their origins and ethnicity.

- The principle of design:  Balance : asymmetrical design. Composition: splash of different vibrant colours in one image. Harmony : feelings of happiness,and excitement . Contrasting hair colours are used for different skin colours.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curvy. Colours : pastel colours for skin and bright colours for the hair. Tone is warm (yellow and orange colours are used).  Direction : symmetrical

Art 12 : Africa meets Middle-East

-African lady carrying a pot of water in the desert, an Arab guy on a camel with pyramids in the background. Shows a fusion of intercultural backgrounds, African lady and an Arab man living together in the same area.
-The principle of design:  Balance : asymmetrical design. Composition: splash of different vibrant colours in one image. Harmony : feelings of happiness and relaxed can be seen. Contrasting colours on the flag.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curved. Colours : complementary coloured background (blue sky and brown desert sand; pink and green on the pot of water). Triad colours on the lady’s costume (red,orange and yellow). Tone used to create rhythm and movement (lady walking and man riding a camel). Shape :3D effect can be seen as the camel image is in front of the pyramids.

Art 11 : Malaysia Truly Asia

- Multicultural image of the various races in Malaysia (Malay, Indian, Chinese, Sikh, and Kadazan). Shows their traditional outfit and appearance. Each finger represent a different race, and the palm shows the different colours on the Malaysian flag. The picture shows unity and diversity.

- The principle of design:  Balance : asymmetrical design. Composition: splash of different vibrant colours in one image. Harmony : feelings of happiness and excitement can be seen. Contrasting colours on the flag. Repetition : fingers. There is also variation on the designs on each finger.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curved. Colours : Contrasting colours on the flag(primary colours) and the people are coloured using a mixture of primary,secondary and tertiary colours. Tone used to create rhythm and movement.

Art 10 : Interfaith Community

- image of a globe surrounded with different Interfaith symbols around the world. Shows different religions living together as one.

- The principle of design:  Balance :symmetrical design as both sides have equal amounts of religious symbols. Non-symmetrical : Globe Composition : 5 colours fused together.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curved. Some interfaith symbols uses straight lines. Image is bold.  Colours : high levels of contrast for interfaith symbols (black & white) , subtle colours on the globe (blue and green) to create a cool environment and yellow as the background represents warmth.  Tone used is shows intensity and gradient . 

Art 9 : O.K.

-Picture of  a hand whereby the thumb and pointer finger are connected. It shows intercultural aspects as this symbol is interpreted differently in different countries. In USA and UK = Okay, Russia = Zero, Japan= Money and Brazil = form of insult.
- The principle of design:  Balance :symmetrical design. Composition : only ONE colour which is brown.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curved. Non-linear shape, clear and bold. Colours : tertiary colour (brown).  Tone used is nude and pastel, maintains originality of the actual image colour. Symmetrical  direction

Art 8 : Religion as ONE

- Picture of a hot air balloon flying up in the sky with different symbols of religions on the outer layer of the balloon. This depicts that all religions can live together as one and prosper harmoniously. They can grow positively as all cultures learn to accept differences of the other culture with a broad way of thinking. When there is NO WAR, all religions can fly upwards towards their respective direction without disturbance.
-
- The principle of design:  symmetrical design. Composition : fusion of colours. Contrast of yellow and green on the balloon makes it stand out. Repetition of clouds.
-Elements of design: Lines are thick and curved.  Shape is clear and bold . Colours : primary(yellow and blue) and secondary (green and orange) are used. Contrast is shown. Symmetrical  direction. Tones : dark tones to focus on symbols with lighter background

Art 7 : Yin Yang Felines

- Two cats, one Black and another White. Intercultural fusion of  Black and White people. The cat is a domestic animal, hence symbolizes domestic partnership between two different people.

- The principle of design:  symmetrical design, shows harmony whereby the cats look relaxed and happy. Repetition of cats (mirror image).
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curved.  Shape is clear and bold . Colours : basic colours- black and white. Contrast is shown. Symmetrical  direction.  

Art 6 : One Malaysia

- Multicultural drawing :Combination of 3 main races in Malaysia ie; Malay( batik design), Chinese (traditional wear, Samfu) and Indian( pottu on head and flowers on the hair).
- The principle of design:  symmetrical design, shows harmony whereby all the designs in the image jive together perfectly. Repetition of leaves on the girl’s outfit is used.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin and curved.  Shape is clear and some images are blury. Uses combination of mostly red, black green and cream. Tone: darker tones(to focus on IMAGE).  

Art 5 : Black or White

- Planet Earth with faces of humans (different sizes and colour) incorporated in the design. Shows variation in people of different background,race and culture living together harmoniously.
-
- The principle of design: compostion : uses only 2 colours (white and black). asymmetrical picture. Contrast : colours used contrast each other. Repition of colours are used and faces.
-Elements of design: Lines are heavy and curved.  Shape is sharp and clear, shows some images are hidden. Only uses black and white to give 3D effect and create contrast . Tone: lighter  for background and darker tones(to focus on IMAGE).  Direction : assymetrical

Art 4 : Robin Hood vs Cowboy vs Samurai

- The picture shows 3 men from different parts of the world (The Alps, Wild West and Eastern continent).
-- The principle of design: compostion : uses only 3 colours (white,yellow and orange). asymmetrical picture, harmony: combination of different types of people in one image. Contrast : subtle colours are used but they contrast each other. Repition of colours are used.
-Elements of design: Lines are thin,curvy and straight.  Shape is sharp and clear. Uses fusion of primary(yellow) and secondary(orange)  colours. Tone: lighter tones and darker tones(to focus on accessories used). Colour : orange and yellow gives a warm temperature.


Art 3 : Tree of Unity

- A tree of different colours showing the unity of different people and culture living together under the same ecosystem(tree bark) as ONE.
- The principle of design: compostion : splash of different vibrant colours. symmetrical picture, harmony: feelings of happiness and high energy level. Contrast : contrasting colours are used to make the picture stand out. Repitition is used in the form of tree branches.
-Elements of design: oblic direction. Lines give movement and are long and curvy.  Shape is sharp and clear. Uses fusion of primary,secondary and tertiary colours which are mixed. Tone: lighter and darker tones.

Art 2 : Individual Acceptance

- The picture shows a heart(black hook) linked to people(coloured circles) from different walks of life. It shows that one should learn to accept an individual with an open heart based on their personality not based on their colour,size,race or outer appearance.
- The principle of design: compostion : splash of different vibrant colours. Asymmetrical picture, harmony: feelings of high energy level. Contrast : contrasting colours are used to make the picture stand out. Repitition is used in the form of circles.
-Elements of design: asymmetrical direction. Lines give movement or 3D effect and are heavy. Has emotional effect. Shape is sharp and clear. Uses primary (red,blue,yellow) and secondary (green,  and blue) and tertiary (purple) colours. Tone: lighter and darker tones to give solidity to image.

Art 1 : Fusion of Eating Ethics

-This picture shows a Chinese man eating noodles using a pair of fork and spoon as ‘chopsticks’. This  depicts the fusion culture of Chinese and Western eating ethics.
- The principle of design: symmetrical picture, harmony: that all the images fit in perfectly. Feeling of happiness can be seen. Contrast to make the picture stand out.
-Elements of design: Symmetrical direction. Lines give movement or 3D effect and are curvy. Has emotional effect. Shape is sharp and clear. Uses primary (red,blue,yellow) and secondary (green, orange and blue) colours. Has shadings to create different tones and intensities. Tone gives solidity to image.
